Dear Customer: The following information is designed to guide you as you make your decision in obtaining a qualified towing service to provide trespass towing at your property. Please keep in mind that not all "towing" companies are qualified in this particular area. Trespass towing is a unique field, and while you are considering a qualified company you should make sure that company has the experience and know how as it relates specifically to trespass towing. There are many laws and statutes that need to be followed at all times while performing this type of service. D&M Recovery Services follows all of these laws and statutes and guides you through the process so that your liability is almost non existent once you have a vehicle removed from your property. The most important step that you will take once you have chosen a qualified company is having signs posted at the property location. We will supply you with these signs at no cost and show you where to post them at your property. In addition to no charge for the signs that we supply, you will never be charged for any other services that we provide. Once all signs are posted and the contract has been signed, we will forward a copy to the Orlando Police(required) and have a copy on file at our office for Orange County. A copy of each contract will be provided to you as well. Please keep in mind that unless and until we have a signed contract and signs are posted, we will not be able to start any towing from any property. We suggest that in fairness to all of your residents and or guests of the property that you distribute a notice indicating that a new towing service has been contracted and what the towing provisions are with respect to this contract as it relates to parking rules and regulations.. We also suggest that you have some type of written policy that is signed by all residents with respect to parking provisions at your property. With these two things in place, you will avoid many issues that may come up if you do not have these in place. We feel that communication with the residents should be a number one priority. Please keep in mind that per Florida law, you "may" warn an individual that his/her car will be towed just prior to towing it, but once you have your signs posted and contract signed this is not required. This is solely up to you the property owner / management company / agent. If you have any other questions, we are here to assist you in any way possible to assure that you have chosen the right company for your towing needs. We encourage all property owners and or managers and HOA's to contact us directly. We will be more than happy to meet with you and do a presentation at any of your meetings. Once we have an agreement in place we are available to meet with your staff and do an "in service" as it relates to our company. Remember all companies are not the same, and we may do things different than the previous company.
