Wednesday, March 23rd 2011 The new Chateau nightclub at Paris Las Vegas By Amanda Finnegan New details were released today about the Strip's newest megaclub, Chateau Nightclub and Gardens at Paris Las Vegas. Chateau is expected to open March 5 with Grammy-nominated singer Drake as host and the start of DJ Samantha Ronson’s residency. The new nightclub overlooking the Strip will span more than 45,000 square feet in a two-story, outdoor-indoor setting designed by AK DesignNETWORK, which was part of the redesigned SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. Outside, guests will find a 10,000-square-foot terrace overlooking the Strip with VIP cabanas and three additional bars. During the day, the terrace will serve as a beer garden and restaurant, opening at 10 a.m. The club includes 20,000 square feet outdoors in a garden setting under the Eiffel Tower replica. Chateau nightclub is operated by a group of partners, including Corey Jenkins, who is a partner in Pure and Cabo Wabo; and Rollie Strum and Steve Davidovici. In February 2008, the IRS sent agents to investigate Pure Management Group and Davidovici, who was a managing partner at the time, as part of a criminal investigation into the club's cash handling and tipping policies. Strum and Jenkins are also partners with Davidovici in the adjacent Sugar Factory restaurant and retail space, also set to open in March. Sugar Factory is best known for its high-priced lollipops seen posed with celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Holly Madison.
